South Sligo Walking Festival From May 5th to May 7th 2012 Bank Holiday Weekend. There will be 3 guided walks each day. The Short walk will suit those who prefer a leisurely pace (Country Lanes/Lakeside Walks) while the Medium (Hillwalk) & Long (Mountain Walk) will be more challenging. Beautiful scenery speckled with high altitude lakes and streams, giving participants a chance to experience at first hand the splendid isolation that is the Ox Mountains.
